What is a view Worth?

Posted by Teresa Barthol

Coming home to a view is like going on a mini vacation?

What is your favorite view? With this warmer and not so rainy weather we have had lately, the views in the Northwest are the best. Mt Rainer, the Olympics, Mt Baker, the Islands, the water and at the end of the day the Sunset. Tell me? does it get any better than this?

Dusk, at the time of year we are approching, fall, looking east to the Cascades is a view I love from the south Everett area where I live. Come early November, when the maple sheds it’s leaves, I really like to see the cold light blues of the sky set agaianst the pinks and light yellows out over the mountain range as the sun sets. Just before the setting sun drops the moutains turn all sort of purples. Then it’s over. Sure, you have to be watching for it between the grey rainey day back drops when you don’t get to witness this. It only makes it all the more worth catching, the clear day sunsets on the Cascades!
