Buyers take note! The reasons to buy a home today are mounting. First there is plenty of inventory right now. Which may give you cause to wait and think about it….. but, the experience I’m having is that the Best Homes, Best Priced, and in Best Locations are getting snapped up. There is reason to think, at least in my mind that this current inventory will not last forever. Seller’s do want to sell, and they are presently finding a way. So get out there, get informed and get your new home, that’s my advise. Second point, Sellers are offering incentives in all forms. Extras, in the way of upgrades, financing assistance, low interest rates and all. Not to mention the willingness to negotiate on price. Third, is the opportunity to take advantage of the First Time Home Buyer Credit. $8,000 could definitely help the bottom line. Check out this link for the complete details.

Tankless Water Heaters strike me as a Good Idea! In homes where I have seen them installed, I have always stopped to point out to my Home Buyers, what a smart idea that is. For a complete review of the system and to give it consideration for you home, visit this article.
Installing a tankless gas water heater is a very worthwhile investment and one that will pay for itself in a very short period of time. Most models last a minimum of ten years so you won’t have to make the investment again for quite some time. The main ways tankless gas water heaters save you money is on your heating bill. This is because the water is only heated as you need it rather than continuously. Since there is no tank to worry about, you won’t every have to deal with the expense of household items being ruined due to a leak like you do with conventional water heaters.
Lowering the heating temperature will also result in you saving more money. With conventional water heaters this can be tricky. However, the process is very easy with a tankless gas water heater. You can use a remote panel that is mounted on your wall to adjust the temperature for various water outlets.
If you are like me, you want the shower to be extremely hot, but you may be able to reduce the temperature for your sinks and your washing machine. For each 10 degrees you lower the temperature you will see an average of a 5% reduction in your energy bills. Lower temperatures have also been proven to make your tankless gas water heater last longer because less minerals and corrosion will build up. Consider insulating your water heater pipes as well, especially if the water is traveling three feet or more from the unit’s location.
It may surprise you, but many people decide to install a tankless gas water heater because they need the closet space! They compared prices and found it to be less expensive to invest in the water heater and gain a closet then to remodel their house so that they can have the extra space available. Home remodeling is often expensive and time consuming. This option is fast and it has multiple benefits, including gaining that closet back.
Many tankless gas water heaters qualify for the $300 Federal tax

Learn about the community and the place that you may be interested in Buyinga home in.
What is the City doing to protect us from day to day? What Plans do they have for Neighborhood developements? What, if any security concerns are there? I always believe it is good advise for Buyers to check with the Everett Police Department, and the City Planning Department when looking to Buy a home. Buyers can then buy with confidence and an understanding of what to expect in the future. Here is an opportunity to learn more about Everett at this Open House. Reading the Port of Everett News the other day, this article caught my eye. Blue Heron Slough! Biringer Farms ! Whats happening? Well, interesting enough, quite a lot.
The Port purchased the Biringer Farm property in the early 90’s to use as wetland mitigation for Port projects. Biringer Farm, those are the Berry people and they “are moving to an Arlington Farm location to continue growing strawberries and raspberries in the future” Follow them on http://www.biringerfarm.com
The thought of those Berries, and a visit to their site will make you feel a burst of Summer. They have a Blog to follow too! Highly recommended for any Pacific Northwest enthusiast. Yum! Berries!
Approximately 300 acres of freshwater wetlands and brackish marsh habitat would be created to be The Blue Heron Slough. “The mitigation bank would provide mitigation for Port projects elsewhere, as well as, provide mitigation credits to third parties. Under the policies of SEWIP and the SEWIP Salmon Overlay, use of this site as a mitigation bank would result in a net increase in salmon habitat area and quality in the lower Snohomish Estuary.”
The Port has a contract with Wildlands.
Wildlands is a habitat development, land management, and environmental planning company with projects throughout the Western and Southeastern United States. Established in 1991, Wildlands is a national leader in establishing wetland and stream mitigation banks and conservation banks that enhance water quality and protect wildlife habitat in perpetuity.
It will be interesting to see this project progress! “Land Stewardship” that’s what this is all about. Good news for Everett! Thanks to all those who see these visions and work to create a lasting legacy.

Right there in Claremont Village a new Restaurant opened recently. In making the rounds to get the oil changed in the car, get new light bulbs for the house and other things we do on errand day, we made a stop to eat. New, fresh and fun the Clubhouse Grill serves up a great Eggs Benedict (with fresh crab, I must add). Damien Harris, the owner, took time out to sit and talk with us about his vision for his new establishment. We enjoyed getting to know Damien while enjoying our breakfast. A very community minded man with a goal to serve up good food, neighborhood conversations, family fun, live entertainment and much more. Next week, we plan to gather up some of our friends to join us at the Clubhouse Grill. We wish Damien all the Best!

Claremont Village is in the Glacier View Neighborhood. The ClubHouse Grill is located at 4809 Evergreen Way, Everett 98203 This a well established neighborhood near the Everett Golf and Country Club. A great place to find a Rambler style home built in 1940s & 1950s with some wonderful large yards. Neighbors will enjoy this new opportunity to meet up, enjoy good fun & food at the ClubHouse Grill.
